How about some stats, that'd be nice. This is my ESCAPE. I deal with politics, the bills, my three hours of commuting DURING THE WEEK.

The environment is not "politics". NBC is helping to show that there is a higher level of personal responsibility than people in America would like to acknowledge. People continue to insist that our "freedom" means we can use as much gas, electricity, etc. as we want without concern for the effects. Well you can do that, but you can also go around stabbing infants. That doesn't mean you should or that you should be able to sleep well at night if you do. Take care of the planet douchebag, and don't complain that other people are making you feel bad about yourself for not. You should feel bad about yourself if you're not doing your part.

It isn't politics. As far as I saw, NBC were simply showing that turning their studio lights down for a while saved sufficient power to run a family home for a month. Quite an eye-opener and something inarguably good for everyone. Most corporations are jumping on the green bandwagon because it's good business, driving down energy costs.
