dmarc117
http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/cs-07...hi_tab01_layout The Bears got flexed. NBC and the NFL decided against placing the Bears-Seattle game on prime time on Sunday, Nov. 18. Instead, it will air on WFLD-Ch. 32 at 3:15 p.m. NBC selected the New England-Buffalo game for that Sunday night. An opportunity to air the 9-0 Patriots was a no-brainer for the network. New England's 24-20 win over Indianapolis did a 22.4 overnight rating and 39 share Sunday on CBS, numbers usually seen for league title games (a national ratings point is worth more than 1 million households; share is the percentage of TVs tuned to the telecast). "The Patriots' quest for a perfect season is clearly the biggest story in the NFL," NBC Sports Chairman Dick Ebersol said. The Bears and Seattle had been designated for the Sunday night slot, but NBC decided to change to a different game under the flexible-scheduling agreement it has with the NFL.
