Lost
I currently have McNabb and Roethlisberger as my QBs. I am really hurting for a decent running back. The question I have is to the durability of Big Ben. Would I be stupid to try and pawn off McNabb for an RB? I think I might be able to find a team willing to trade me a serviceable RB for McNabb. That would leave me with only Big Ben at QB. Problem here is that our waiver wire is extremely dry. If Big Ben gets injured, I would have slim pickings for QBs. Please help and give me your opinion. Sorry, put this in wrong forum, but it really is more toward how durable Big Ben is than anything else. dabuffbills
well Ben got hurt on Monday night, but it turns out he was alright. It's impossible to tell when a player can get severely injured and be out for the season. If you look at last year, he doesn't seem durable, but if you look at this year, he hasn't really been injured. It just comes down to your call whether you're gonna rely on him for the rest of the season and hope for the best or have a serviceable backup just in case. Swiss Cheezhead
Now is the time to forget about depth. If your starters have made it this far -- and they're playing as well as Ben -- you need to ride them to the promised land. If you have good players on your bench, trade them for starters ASAP. jjpro11
qbs are basically a crapshoot when it comes to injuries other than the exceptions of manning, brady and favre. if you think that you really need a rb to make a run for the championship then you gotta do it. chinatown dragons
I think Big Ben is pretty durable.....you can't base it on last year...he wasn't the same after the motorcycle accident....appendectomy, etc......He's a pretty big guy, and think he's having a GREAT year....whereas McNabb isnt......if you can trade McNabb for a good back, I say do it... I think you just as well on the WW for what people will want to give up for him. I mean you don't want him either so what makes you think othere people want him?
