devildog0311
When will he get the nod in O town. Just currious to see what kind of talent he has?
euphy
When will he get the nod in O town. Just currious to see what kind of talent he has? Looks like he'll be on the pine until 2008... at least. He's currently the 4th QB on the roster.
Randall
Looks like he'll be on the pine until 2008... at least. He's currently the 4th QB on the roster. I don't think so. I thin he'll play some later in the year.
Chief
Holding out against Al Davis wasn't very smart, especially into the real games. I'm thinking he sits all this year, Al has never been one to forget or forgive easily. JR deserves what he gets in my book.
Ursa Majoris
JR deserves what he gets in my book. What he gets is mega-millions. Not sure he deserves that.
Caveman_Nick
What's funny about this is that people think a 20ish year old kid being overwhelmed with millions of dollars and being advised by agents, parents, fans, his new boss, etc., etc. was anything more than doing what he was advised by those closest to him. And Al Davis knows this. There won't be a vengeance issue.
rebdog
Kiffin strikes me as a guy who will only put him in there when he believes he can handle it and still allow the team to be somewhat competitive. Whether that is this year or next year is anyone's guess. I have him in my keeper league so I'd like to get a look before next year as well. SMF
Would love to see him play this year but most likely he will be the opening game starter for them in
Pancake
When will he get the nod in O town. Just currious to see what kind of talent he has? The radio hosts on a local Bay Area radio station (KNBR 680) this morning said that Kiffin is toying with the idea of making Russel the #2 QB this week....so if its a blowout with OAK losing big time they just might put Russell in the game for a couple snaps late in the game.
