CaptainHook
on the sideline. Pointing and laughing at the Colts offense.
Gdawg
where are you!!!!?!??!?!?!?!?! Oh, you mean the Invisble Man? The talent of being invisble is a double-edged sword. Sure, no one cover you, but your QB cannot see you...
piratesownninjas
where are you!!!!?!??!?!?!?!?! fulfilling what a lot of us thought he was from the start... An average at best player. If you take out his 200 yard game a few years back, he's nothing more than spare.

Hugh 0ne
Chambers is a good WR. He's in a new system. His team is leading and they don't reallly need to throw. He'll be a decent #3, maybe even #2 WR in a few weeks.

Chargerz
is rivers that bad? is he lost in the sea of talent there? is he just not good? Yes, Rivers is that bad! The sad thing is we have a capable backup in Billy Volek, but I doubt that Norv will ever bench Rivers.

Flip_Side
Make a valid argument... You haven't made one yourself. You simple are saying "he's just not good".

Flip_Side
I dont need to. Stats speak for themselves. So because Peyton threw 6 INT's yesterday that makes him a bad QB? And you keep talking about taking out games, you simply can't do that. Edited November 12, 2007 by Flip_Side
peepinmofo
So because Peyton threw 6 INT's yesterday that makes him a bad QB? No. That was one game. Chambers stats are spread over his entire career. Next?
Hugh 0ne
No. That was one game. Chambers stats are spread over his entire career. Next? OK, 1118 yards and 11 TD's in '05, 963 yards and 11 TD's in '03. And look at the QB's and passing games he's played in. If you don't like Chambers, fine, but saying he's a terrible WR is nonsense. His numbers have been decent, dare I say good, in some terrible offenses with some terrible QB's.
Flip_Side
No. That was one game. Chambers stats are spread over his entire career. Next? Chambers has had Gus Frerrotte, Sage Rosenfels, Ray Lucas, Jay Fielder, etc, throwing the ball to him throughout his career buddy.

Ok so he isnt Johnny Morton bad, but he isnt as good as everyone (a lot of people) have made him out to be. Each of the years you mentioned, if memory serves me well, he had one hugh game of like 200 yards and 3 TDs. Take the one big game away, and he is very average. Blame the QBs if you want. Now he has Rivers. No more excuses right? We shall see... Oh and dont tell me "Rivers is horrible..." because he seems to be able to get the ball to Gates plenty. I have my money on Chambers numbers staying the same as they were in Miami. if my memory serves me... funny. that game was against Buffalo. Doesnt matter who it was against. The stats from that game fluffed him up to be something he isnt.
