Colts think they are the most clever team

Funny thing was, they tried to do this before. I think it was in Manning's first play-off game vs. Tennessee. Adam Meadows came in as a second tackle, reported as eligible, and then tried to go in motion. They called the same thing then too. The refs won't let you get away with it. Like I said, I think it was a good call. It shouldn't have mattered. Vinatieri should have made that kick. Manning shouldn't have thrown all those picks. The special teams shouldn't have given up two returns for TD's. You do enough stupid things, you lose.

No. Why would the penalty cost them 30 seconds? Clock stops on a penalty.

No ... but Dungy DID call a time out to get an explanation from the refs and that WAS DUMB.

They were gonna call time-out with one second left anyways. Nobody figures adam is gonna miss that kick.

In the post-game press conference, Dungy admitted the timeout was DUMB and cost them at the end o the game.

Hye, you gotta respect a coach that steps up and admits his faults.

I'm sure Norv won't take credit for being an IDIOT! I wonder what that would sound like....

That is lame. Once the penatly flag was thrown the clock was stopped ... the refs aren't going to reverse the call ... all calling the TO there did was throw it away.

no, i agree. just sayin' I don't think adam missing that kick even crossed his mind. . .

Thats why Bill Bellichick is the smartest coach in the league. I am not sure who called that 4th down play with the Colts and try to get cute and of course got penalized 5 yards and cost themselves 30 seconds even though that was supposed to help them. I know a FG attempt under 30 yards by Adam Vinatteri is considered a freebie to them but would a guy like Bill Bellichik do the same thing? Nope. They probably thought the 3 points was free. The Chargers know its just an act trying to get them offsides. Who are they fooling? Come on, Bill Bellichick would have kicked the FG with no hesistation.

I also noticed that most of Peyton Mannings comebacks does not involve him scoring a Touchdown. Most of his comebacks are last second field goals. They play way too conservative and the Colts are just SOFT like the chargers.

I'm already bummed out beyond what you can imagine. You aren't bothering me at all. :D

Funny how by trying to get smart Dungy effectively iced his own kicker by trotting Vineteri onto the field and then sending him off by trying to draw SD offsides. :D

You'd think with all this time on your hands, you could pick up a second job and pay Spain his $100.
