How bout them Cowboys

Go into Philly last week, punk the Birds.

Go into NY, and punk the Gnats.

This Dallas teams just keeps getting better and better, and its rush defense is looking scary good right now. They have yet to give up 100 yards to any rusher this year, their secondary is getting healthy, and today it showed against the NY Wideouts that torched them in week 1, without T Newman. Newman is almost 100 %, and Henry will be there soon. Tank Johnson gave this DL a spark today, though he isnt in football shape yet. Im curious to see how this team does vs Green Bay, though I think they punk them as well, but at least 10 pts in a few weeks.

Its time to start mentioning Dallas ahead of Indy and Pitt as the #2 team in the NFL right now, and NE should go for 16-0, because its the only thing they will have to celebrate this yr. Dallas is winning the SB, and there isnt a team out there that will be able to beat them when Glenn comes back next month. Think NE with a defense, and a better K.

You have to wonder what the hell the Giants were thinking running single coverage on TO all day :D

TO wasnt in single coverage all game, just when they played zone in the middle, and sent the blitz.

Witten torched them in the first meeting, they were not about to let him do it again. When TO got single coverage, Romo exposed it.

Still, it's like fighting a guy with two pit bulls. Yeah, that pit bull tore the crap out of me last time, so I won't let that happen again :D

The Cowboys are just better. More weapons, better O, better D.

Dallas is clearly the class of the NFC and I wont argue with you that it is perhaps the number 2 team in the entire league right now. However, I dont see them having enough to beat NE this year. They would likely make it a closer game than we saw a couple weeks back, but the Pats would still take them IMO. Only difference Glenn makes at this point is to sadden the Crayton owners.

Can someone tell me why Coughlin didn't kick a field goal late instead of going for it on 4th?

Oh wouldn't have mattered anyway, they couldn't stop our O line from pounding them into submission. :D

Two down one to go........Let's get at um Boys the skins are comin to town........

That isn't clear at all yet. They haven't beaten Green Bay yet. We'll see in a few weeks.

correct. Stop counting your chickens before they hatch people. :D

There's a lot of football still to be played. The team is playing well, and was clicking on all cylinders against Philly and then against NY. They've just got to keep in rythmn and keep the living crap out of the Deadskins.

Seeing Dallas win the tough division games on the road ISMHO is the most impressive thing to me. I know the Eagles arent what they used to be but it never really mattered when these old NFC east rivals squared off..Dallas manhandled Philly and won a very tough game yesterday on the road vs a good Giants team..What yesterday proved to me is how great that line can protect Romo..The Giants have an awesome pass rush and great DEs and we handled it big time. Romo is awesome..The guy just makes plays simple as that..Dallas absolutely needs to get these dumb penalties under control..One day it can bite them on the ass . Eliminate costly penalties and get better defending 3rd down conversions and this team can beat anyone.

Sgt. Ryan predicting or guaranteeing Super Bowl could be a bad thing. His proclamations similar to this in the past, have always come back to haunt him. However, that doesn't stop him from just starting back up again.

I think the Cowboys are the most talented team in the NFC. I think they have a very good shot at making the playoffs. I don't think they are good enough to beat the AFC rep in the Super Bowl though, which, at this point, it is hard to argue that anyone else will make it.

The Cowboys have definitely made an argument that they are the 2nd best team in the NFL, no doubt about that. My power rankings at the top would look like this:

1. Patriots - no explanation needed

2. Colts - I hate to use excuses, but, they were extremely injury depleted yesterday

3. Cowboys - You just can't dismiss the way they have been dominating lately

4. Steelers - They are making a believer out of me, but, the AFC is going to be brutal

5. Packers - I'm shocked out how well this team is playing. They are impressive.

BS, I'm calling BS. I think the Cowboys are the class of the NFC, with GB right there. But come on, the Steelers would beat them and IND right now, and you know it. Say it how you feel, you and I both know you feel this. I don't ever bash on you for being a homer, but I will bash on you for not sticking your neck out there this time. The Defense is good enough and the Offense can flat out score with anyone, Ben is truly a good franchise QB....he's right behind Manning and Brady IMO.

Romo's going to be so busy getting Favre's autograph he won't get the ball to TO. :D

You call BS on what ? I'm giving you my honest opinion. Yes, the Steelers are extremely talented. However, in two games this season (Arizona & Denver), they lost to teams that they had no business losing to. Yesterday, they came close to losing a game at home that they should have won. I love where this team is headed, but, as of this moment, I'd still rank them behind the Patriots, Colts, & Cowboys. I'm sorry if you think that is B.S. By no means am I saying that it would shock me if the Steelers beat the Patriots (well, that would surprise me a little). Actually, the Cowboys, Steelers, & Colts are pretty close on my ratings, but, I'd have the Steelers below them because of their two bad performances on the road this year.

As for Ben being a franchise QB, I've never doubted that. I've been in battle after battle with people on here for years. Some have come fourth already and admitted that they now think Ben is a great QB, others probably never will admit that they were wrong. Right now, the guy is simply playing phenomenal football, and I don't know how anyone could argue that. He simply put that team on his back yesterday, and it was a gutsy performance.

Maybe I'm changing in my old age, but, I was just giving you my honest opinion on things.

Well the old Menudo I know would have jumped all over the opportunity to rank his Steelers #2. I think they are the 2nd best team. The reasons they lost were being on the road and some bad coaching adjustments. Look at yesterday, they came out at half and adjusted to what D Anderson was doing, they made him throw short and they were sitting back waiting to pick him off. Good coaching! It's telling when I think they are better then you do........MENUDO has changed folks!

As far as Ben goes, that was just a statement I made, had nothing to do with what you think or thought of him. I'm jealous of the franchises that are great right now.......and you know why? Cause the mgmnt has a clue and drafted a franchise difference maker QB....something the Chiefs have failed or neglected to do.....and I'm pretty pissed off about it. Croyle has been given NO chance to succeed, and in the process they have completely ruined him for good I'd imagine....it's a shame.

There is NO WAY that the Cowboys are a better team than the Colts. I believe that the Colts have a distinct advantage at QB and a very decided advantage on defense. The Colts defense continues to fly under the radar and I think that they are one of the Top 3 defensive clubs in the league right now.

I think that I would give the Cowboys a very slight advantage over the Packers right now but if the Packers get the home field advantage, and stay healthy, I see them beating the Cowboys in the playoffs. They are starting to get their running game going, their defense is rock solid and they have the "Favre factor" working in their favor.

1. Patriots

2. Colts

3. Cowboys

4. Packers

5. Steelers

Lets just say Im not as impressed with Green Bay as you. Favre factor usually means interceptions. Dallas shuts down the run, and Favre will make mistakes. The Green Bay D is solid, but are they better than the Giants, Id have a hard time saying that. And dallas just tore through the giants yesterday. Green Bay has no answer for TO, or Romo. Dallas is clearly the class of the NFC, and after Dallas thumps Green Bay in a couple of weeks, people will be predicting SB for this team. I just did it earlier, as I already see what many are not giving dallas credit for.
