Marshy
How is the rest of the season going to pan out for him? He started off the season incredibly, but in the past few weeks due to his injury hasn't performed well at all. I have him in my two leagues, and was wondering what peoples opinions were on him going forward.
Bill Swerski
In my uninformed opinion, it looks like his ankle is getting worse. I'm benching him for Hackett this weekend.
tomfin2000
Same thing that's been going on for the past two seasons with Eli and Plax: A great first half of the season and a lousy second half of the season. I thought they might both be for real this time around, but apparently not. This is coming from someone that doesn't own either one of them for that very reason. Sturphy
I'm benching him for Hackett this weekend. Hey, I'm doing the exact same thing. Here's to hoping Hackett can keep it rolling. I think Burress continues to fade the rest of the season.
detlef
Dude's been hurt since day one and it must just be catching up to him.
PatrickL
for one thing I don't think Eli tries to get the ball to him enough.
kingfish247
FWIW, I think it was Jaws that said something about Plax and Eli during the Monday Nighter vs. ATL... He basically said Plaxico not practicing will catch up with Eli, Plax, and the entire Giants offense. Teams will figure what they're doing and that's why they struggle in the 2nd half of the season. Also, since Plaxico doesn't practice it's next to impossible to include him in new game plans implemented in practice.

He scored in 5 of his last 7, and went over 100 yards in one of the other two games. I should have checked the stats first, but I remembered benching Eli during most of the second half of last season, and thought that both of them tanked like they did in '05. montster
a few weeks ago a guy in my league said he'd trade me TO for plax (his rationale: "i hate TO."). i proposed it officially on our site, but he never accepted. i just made another offer involving plax for TO, but i'm 8-2 and the other guy is 2-8 and i'm pretty sure has lost all interest in his team, so i'm not hopeful. WorstCoachingEver
Well the Dallas gameplan wasn't to allow Burress to beat them deep. He had been blowing them up on the deep ball the past 2 games. Thus, Shockey was able to get open underneath on Man Coverage (which is easy considering Roy Williams was almost always covering him, but that's another story). I'd wait till this next week b/f making a call on Burress.

Bill Swerski
I'd wait till this next week b/f making a call on Burress. Not me. He's done crap for three straight weeks now. If I have a better option on my bench whose getting a ton of looks right now (Hackett), I'm going with him instead.
