Does he look like a or a over the long run? No homer but after watching some of their games, the OL still looks like a push over thus Schaub's list of injuries this season. Schaub has been more effective at getting rid of the ball faster and getting it downfield more than Carr ever could. Schaub looks to be pretty good in the long term as long as you think HOU will figure out a long term solution to not getting him clobbered. Little Big Head
Having AJ back should give his value a big boost.

Has any team consistently ever had a worse OL for so many years in a row. It's flippin' ridiculous.
kingfish247
Has any team consistently ever had a worse OL for so many years in a row. It's flippin' ridiculous. Kubiak is a ZBS guy preferring to take no-name guys in the late rounds or undrafted free agents. This year, Kubiak took 2 OL in the 5th and 6th rounds but neither have started yet. He took two OL in the 3rd round in '06 (Charles Spencer and Eric Winston). Spencer's career is likely over and Winston is supposedly making strides in the running game but notsomuch in pass protection. In '04 and '05, they didn't draft ANY OL. In '02 and '03 (the first 2 drafts of the franchise ever), they took a total of 3 OL in the draft (took another in the '02 supplemental). Their current starting left OT (Ephraim Salaam), the guy charged with protecting Schaub's blind side, was taken in the 7th round by the Falcons in 1998 and played for the Jags and Broncos since then. I understand Kubiak likes his 'system' and it worked in Denver but there only so many no-name/undrafted FA's available that can be viable starters in the NFL.
