budlitebrad
His knee just buckled on a cut. That looked really bad. He seems to be in considerable pain and is done for the night. Looks like another #2 may be on there way down... Edited November 16, 2007 by budlitebrad
broncosn05
Yeah dad on the sideline, doesn't look good but he's standing so you never know. As much as I want to see VT move up I hate to see anyone, especially a heisman canidate, go down for it to happen.

theeohiostate
Oregon looks pretty damn bad without him in there... The Defense giving up 31 points in a half to a shiat team is the problem, not the lack of a QB.
millerx
Definitely puts Tebow in the Heisman drivers seat if Dixon can't come back in the next week or two. Huh??? IMO, Florida can win without Tebow....however, obviously Dixon IS the Univ. of Oregon. I'd call Dixon the MVP of his team, I don't even know if you could call Tebow the MVP his team, much less all of college football.

The Heisman is awarded to the most outstanding player, not necessarily the most valuable one. Right now Tebow is playing hurt, passing efficiently, and is one of the most powerful rushing QBs I've seen. Passing: 2,532 YDS | 23 TD 5 INT | 67.8 CMP% Rushing: 718 YDS | 19 TD I mean, I would have to vote for him even if Dixon didn't get hurt. millerx
By the way, I was trying to remember a few years back...who was Oregon promoting for the Heisman? They paid to have a huge billboard of him in Times Square? Was that Harrington? Honestly, I can't remember. wildcat2334
Wow- that is tough- my Cats upset the Ducks minus all-everything Dennis Dixon, and since I want Stoops good and gone, I am not even that fired up about it. A shame the country didn't get to see a healthy Dixon tonight...............and Oregon would have hung 50 on my Cats with DIxon. Now Stewart is out? what a train wreck- looks like LSU/OU have the inside track now Crazy year in college football

Zona scored on a defensive pick 6 and punt return- so not really accurate, but what else is new out of you.

Zona doesn't even get a "W" in the Big 10 , but somehow manages 5 in the Pac 10 , and beats up the best team.............go figure. Now since I know your on these boards every day, go to the BSHoopsLeague, and pay your freakin entry fee, been 3 weeks already

You are a simple guy aren't ya Mike? not too bright are you? One game doesn't make a conference strong- I am not even gonna get into it bc you are one of the few morons in America that thinks the Big 10 is strong this year- let it go. OU's QB got knocked out, and mini Leaf steps in and throws a pick 6, and UA grabbed the momentum- really unfortunate Dixon got hurt they would have rolled otherwise, but tht is football. Has nothing to do with the Big 10 sucking ba11s, and proving and beating no one this year.

Perhaps the reason why you're not fired up is the fact it exposed your PAC 10 Ducks. There should be little question Oregon is not a championship quality team. More of a one horse wonder. A poor man's version of Vick/Virginia Tech and Tebow/Florida.

Poor man's verions of VT and Florida? righ....................maybe we will find out in a BCS bowl game, just how much of a one horse wonder they are...... What exactly is "championship quality" ?? Is that when you squeak by mediocre SEC teams every week?
Coffeeman
All this proves is that most teams are thin at key spots, and losing a superstar can really hurt your chances. Rocker, you truly think that if Hester went down for LSU, or Tebow for the Gators, that they'd keep rolling? I doubt it. This also means my Trojans path to the Rose Bowl is still not in their hands. That is, now instead of needing the Ducks to win out and get to the NC game, we need one more team to step up and beat them. Meanwhile, we need to win our last 2, starting on Turkey Day in the desert. Gobble, gobble! But mostly it means I might have to...uh....maybe...root for the stinking Bruins and/or the Beavers. I can't believe I just typed that sentence....

Championship quality means a team has depth at every position. Oregon's backup QB couldn't make LSU cheerleading aquad. I have a question for you Wildcat. What was your Coach Stoop-id Jr. doing in the 2nd half throwing the ball?
Bushey
Thank you cats for winning another huge game in November. Your reward is to suffer for at least another year of Mike Stoops. The Devils are back in the BCS picture just to make things interesting. Makes that USC - ASU game on Thursday a little more important. Of course, another my conference is better than yours breaks out just as predicted. How can anyone determine which conf is better by watching an upset last night? Oregon's 2 best players get knocked out of the game and all of a sudden, Oregon is overrated. My advice is to try to swim a little further out than the wading pool when commenting on games. Simple scenario, Oregon loses it's best players in a hostile environment and they barely get beat by a game AZ squad that smelled blood in the 2nd quarter. All the BCS conferences are tough. I don't believe even a team like LSU could go undefeated in the PAC 10 ,BIG 10, or Big 12.

Down here people talk everyday about why doesn't LSU start Williams or Scott over Hester. I know that sounds silly (and I agree Hester should start) but many feel Keiland Williams will be drafted much higher when he enters the draft than Hester will this year. Sorry bad example LSU is absolutely loaded at the RB position. That's probably the number one reason why McKnight went to USC. Speaking of USC bowl possibilities wouldn't it be something if USC ends up playing in Shreveport's Independence Bowl?
