Detroit Lions

They have to be the biggest enigma in the NFL. Some weeks at home, they look very active and a playoff team. Last week, they get beat, but on the road, it's not that unexpected...so this week, back at home against a beatable team, you think they'd show some life. No. They are pathetic and their schedule will start to catch up with them.

Did you take into account the fact that they are playing their toughest opponent thus far? The Lions haven't lost back to back games all year. The lost to PHI, and bounced back, lost to WAS and bounced back. I'll willing to give them the benefit of the doubt despite their past and say this is a different team and there is no reason to believe they won't bounce back again.

Unbelievable, actually believable unfortunatley.

Last week, McDonald fumbles the ball mysteriously. This week they go to him at the goal line and of course he's not tall enough or strong enough to win that battle, INT Giants. Then they get another chance and they go to him again and he can't make a catch and the Giants pick it off.

So you are telling me that Roy and Calvin just aren't open at all?

How f'n irritating.

It's been seven years since the Lions have been at the "enigma" stage. They've been stuck at the "Wow! Are they really that bad?" stage since Millen took over. I'll take this as progress. I've said for a couple of years now that I only want the games to be exciting again. It's been awhile since the Lions had a winning record going in to Thanksgiving. For now, I'll take it.
