kam man
It looked like Davenport was in on every other series in the second half. Parker was the third down back a couple times. Steeler homers is this a concern?
nhoops
From what I've heard they were just totally out of sync and they were trying different things to get something going against the JETS.
Menudo
Parker was ineffective and for this game, Davenport was having more success. The Steelers offense line has played poorly all year. Ben and Parker have overcome that to have solid seasons up to this points. In the Jets game, the offensive line went from poor to putrid and Ben and Parker couldn't overcome it. Parker is in no danger of losing his job, but, Najeh is running well enough that in games where Parker struggle, Najeh will take some touches away. I'm happy with the Steelers coaching staff this season, and, for the most part, I'm o.k. with Arian's play-calling, with one exception - THROW SOME SCREEN PASSES TO PARKER ON 1ST AND 2ND DOWN. The guy is great in open space, and teams are blitzing the Steelers sub-par line constantly. I really don't get whey they haven't been using Parker in the passing games on 1st and 2nd down.
