GWPFFL BrianW
I also love how he suspends DJ Hall for saturdays game vs UL Monroe, but with the game tied at 14, he lifts the suspension. ROFL. What a miserable human being.
Rockerbraves
Did Nicky really try to blame their embarrassing loss to Louisiana Monroe on Shula? http://www.myfoxal.com/myfox/MyFox/pages/s...mp;locale=EN-US Edited November 20, 2007 by Rockerbraves

GWPFFL BrianW
http://blog.al.com/breaking/2007/11/tides_...ded_for_ga.html that was from the huntsville times If you look at the box score, and the AP recap DJ Hall played. Of course Saban wouldn't say whether it was for a half or not, but everything I've seen was he was suspended for the GAME. I'm sorry, I can't believe any 17-18 year old would want to play for this guy. Don't they have any integrity?
theeohiostate
To think LSU would be tickled pink to still have this clown I also enjoyed his analogy of the loss being like 9/11 or Pearl Harbor
BS Miscreant
"It may be 9-11, which sort of changed the spirit of America relative to catastrophic events. Pearl Harbor kind of got us ready for World War II, or whatever, and that was a catastrophic event." Someone, please tell this is not an actual quote. I have taught average middle and high school students who speak more eloquently than this. Sort of, kind of, and or whatever? You gotta be sh1ttin me! GWPFFL BrianW
It is an actual quote. The audio was played on ESPN First Take this morning, and I'm sure was played on every other sports outlet, as I also heard it on KFAN, the local sports radio here in the Twin Cities. GWPFFL BrianW
So with Miss State essentially being Pearl Harbor, and LA Monroe being 9-11... that makes Auburn what? Hiroshima? Afghanistan?
Rockerbraves
So with Miss State essentially being Pearl Harbor, and LA Monroe being 9-11... that makes Auburn what? Hiroshima? Afghanistan? And what's with these Oregon people calling their big game the Civil War?
BS Miscreant
Saw it on SportsCenter this morning. What a jacknard!
Rockerbraves
Saban's comparison of football to 911 may have been over the top, however I firmly believe right or wrong that football has symbolic importance down here in the South. If you don't believe me then watch this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-MR7NJXFIc
