HowboutthemCowboys
Read on another board that Tomlin said in his press conference that Holmes has a high ankle sprain. Tomlin mentioned Washington, Wilson and Willie Reid as replacements. Can anyone verify? I can't find anything.
alexgaddis
there are other boards?
MrTed46
Of course he would get injured I have him on my team. Next to get injured is Chris Cooley.
splotchman
Per Rotoworld: Santonio Holmes' ankle injury may cause him to miss the Monday night game against the Dolphins. Holmes was sidelined in the second half against the Jets and the Steelers might feel they can sit Holmes against the 0-10 Dolphins. However, there is a long way to go until Monday so monitor the situation, but be prepared to not have Holmes in your lineup. Nate Washington would likely get the start. bushwacked
Sweet! Ain't nothing like going into a $7,000 WCOFF championship game and having one WR questionable and the other doubtful! Awesome!

Randall
S Polamalu, WR Holmes Doubtful Ed Bouchette, Pittsburgh Post Gazette - Steelers HC Mike Tomlin said today that S Troy Polamalu (knee sprain) and WR Santonio Holmes (ankel sprain) are doubtful for Monday night's game against Miami. NFL N said he is almost certain to miss this week with sprained ankle ligaments. It's all Irish's fault. gsmayes
Damn, I would have to replace him with Crayton, so I would have to make a decision on Thursday.
Cameltosis
Damn, I would have to replace him with Crayton, so I would have to make a decision on Thursday. I think its safe to say you should do it.
Randall
Damn, I would have to replace him with Crayton, so I would have to make a decision on Thursday. Patrick Crayton sprained his left ankle and was limited during practice on Tuesday. Early indications are that he should be fine to play against the Jets, but monitor the situation closely if you are planning on starting him Thursday. Sam Hurd filled in during practice. TDFFFreak
This just goes to show how a team can be on top of the world and have it all come crashing down after a couple of weeks. A BOTH league I have: A Peterson, M. Lynch, and Holmes

TheShiznit
this f-ckin sucks i needed this guy on both my teams as soon as i get andre johnson back he gets injured I patiently waited out Deion Branch and Andre Johnson at the same time...only to have DJ Hackett come back and take all of Branch's production and now Santonio is out. Now I have to start Ike Hilliard. Sheesh. Or I could pick up Nate. He isn't so bad.
Randall
From Rotoworld. How will this affect Roethisberger? Santonio Holmes missed practice once again on Thursday. Holmes isn't expected to play on Monday night, and will be replaced by Nate Washington in the starting lineup.
TDFFFreak
On the bright side, Holmes' injury forced me to start Roddy White on Thankgiving. Unfortunately, I still have to start Stokely with Walker back in the line up. Edited November 23, 2007 by TDFFFreak
joeyb7
Right when I'm heading into the playoffs. Hackett with Branch coming back, Marshall with Walker coming back, and Holmes and Coles are hobbled. I have the worst luck.
joeyb7
It's confirmed on CBS Sportsline that he's out...we all pretty much knew this though. I hope Washington can catch a few long balls in his place.
