Liverlips
Henry gone. How hurt is Young? Or is Hall gonna take the torch now.
handsome
THE NEWS Broncos running back Selvin Young left Monday night's game for a while after injuring his knee. He returned and team officials tell the Denver Post that the rookie is okay. Our View While Young was out, Andre Hall stepped into the spotlight and ripped off a long touchdown run. Depending on what happens with Travis Henry, Young and Hall could be the number one and two runners going forward.
mibar22
i've given up on denver running.. waste of time scrambling every week doing even more research to find out who is healthy who is smoking pot and having babies, who gets tapped on the leg and takes himself out or even how many other hundred running backs are waiting to take each other's spots to have the big game when theyre not on anyone's team.. i dropped henry 5 weeks ago and selvin has been rotting on my bench and probably will continue to do so.. i just traded for portis to take his spot until things clear up for sure Conclusion: its just not worth the headache, but Selvin will be the "featured" back.. at least until he gets dinged up *note that he had an ankle sprain.. then 3 plays later he sprints back in.. that shows he is kind of feminine through exaggeration Edited November 21, 2007 by mibar22
Randall
The Broncos say that Selvin Young was "fine" after Monday's game, and that it was his knee, not ankle, that was temporarily banged-up. Young is a better pass blocker and receiver than Andre Hall, so there's no doubt he'll remain the starter over Hall if Travis Henry is suspended. Denver's schedule is favorable against the run moving forward. Source: Denver Post No Henry announcement today 11/20/2007There will be no announcement on a ruling on Travis Henry's appeal hearing today, meaning the running back will likely be available to face the Bears on Sunday if healthy. MTSuper7
It doesn't sound like Young owners have anything to worry about (until the next injury, which is probably against the Bears this weekend the way this season is going). Bronco Billy
Andre Hall = poor man's Tatum Bell.
tomfin2000
Andre Hall = poor man's Tatum Bell. I'm trying to wrap my mind around the concept of "a poor man's Tatum Bell". If you were to quantify that, you would probably have to use scientific notation!

keggerz
Andre Hall = poor man's Tatum Bell. was/is bell really a one cut runner? Scouting Report Pros: Has good running skills that include decision-making, vision, balance and power, with the quickness to accelerate through the hole and enough speed to break into the secondary. His quickness and power are what will win him a roster spot in the NFL. He shows the ability to make the critical inside yardage. He could possibly start in time while providing a solid change-of-pace runner with the ability to contribute often in a few roles. Cons: He has good speed and some natural running skills to make defenders miss initially, though he is mainly a one-cut runner with a north-south style. thats exactly what shanny wants in a RB Numbers: As a senior, he carried the ball 270 times for 1374 yards, a 5.1 yards-per-carry average and 13 TDs, with 26 receptions for 321 yards and 2 TDs. At the Combine, he ran a 4.45 with 18 reps in the lifting. He had a 33-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot, 5-inch broad jump. Skinny: Tough, productive power back with nice upside. A natural runner with fine vision, cutting skills, power and balance that make him one of the hidden gems of this class. His consistent production has been his best asset with his durability and ball security his strongest traits. He has the potential to start in a third-down back role, possibly as a rookie. In this running back class, he could easily fall to the second day of the draft where he would be a good late-round steal.
