tonyr0802
From Rotoworld: Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (questionable, knee) was warming up before Sunday's game against the Giants.Looks like he might play, which could crush Chester Taylor's fantasy potential. Peterson has shown impressive ability to recover from his torn LCL. He's a borderline RB1 play if active against the Jints.
CaP'N GRuNGe
I'll be shocked if he plays. And also quite worried not as a fantasy owner (who has both Chester and AD), but as a Vikings homer who doesn't want the future of the franchise placed in unneccesary jeopardy. PS - Childress thinks he is Bill Belichick with his secrecy crap, so this is probably a lame ploy.

MikesVikes
I tink that Chester will get his regardless. I'm still thinking another week for Adrian and it sounds like the coach isn't convinced about playing him for today.
cliaz
Next to trading your entire NFL draft to pick up a pot head, putting AP on the field today would be the stupidest thing ever for any NFL team. If he get a career ending injury your properly f'ck
Grits and Shins
If he plays the Vikings will get what they deserve if he suffers a career ending injury
clickclack
I said this a few weeks and posts ago...Why risk your franchise? Why risk re-injury.... Other members shot me down and said if hes medically cleared- then he needs to be out there... Why- so he can risk reinjury?-- I just watched film of him warming u\p at the Meadowlands and he doesnt look right-- the brace looks bulky on him and he probably wont be right the rest of the year.. just my 2C
Mystykoekaki
Well I'm not a doctor or have any sort of medical experience. If they decide he can give it a go, I trust it.
justin
I watched John Clayton's report on SportsCenter at 10:58am EST and he said that he doesn't think that AD will play this week, but could next week. ESPN showed footage of AD running on the filed in a sweatshirt, shorts and a bigazz knee brace.
Randall
Well I'm not a doctor or have any sort of medical experience. If they decide he can give it a go, I trust it. Doctors don't guarantee anything. Why risk the franchise if even a a 10% chance of a worse injury? When one ligament isn't healed it puts more stress on the others. It isn't healed after 2 weeks. But go ahead Childress.

RussMan
Peterson (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Giants, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. It looks like he'll return next week, however. Chester Taylor will get almost all the carries as a result.
gilthorp
Just heard the same on ESPN. He's out today.

tbimm
I own him in 2 leagues where I DONT have Taylor. I for 1 am damn glad he isnt playing today and it has nothing to do with my fantasy teams!
Randall
Sal just said before he plays next week he will get an MRI to check on the tendon. Good move imo.

He also said, if it was a playoff game, he'd be playing today FWIW.
