Randall
I mean he has thrown to spots where there were no players time after time. They must have switched babies at the hospital or something. I hope he's on drugs. That would at least explain a little.
Donutrun Jellies
I mean he has thrown to spots where there were no players time after time. Now, you're being overly critical. Eli hit a number of wide open Viikings for touchdowns today -- he should get some credit for that. Somewhere, Neil O'Donnell feels a little vindicated in not being the only QB to play like that ... Zooty
Maybe he watched film of McNabb last week vs MIA. They did it and won

keggerz
some of that blame probably has to go on the receivers....definitely looks like QB/Receivers werent on the same page
haywood
I'm not a Giants fan by any means, but Eli has to find the pine real soon. I've watched him week after week throw some of the worst passes I've ever seen a NFL QB throw. Seriously, I go to local sports bar every Sunday with some guys. I said it before and the guys I was with thought I was talking out my @ss. I told them just to watch him for a little bit. This was a few weeks ago. Now they all agree with me 100 %. He's horrible. He's gotten a free ride because he's a Manning. He looks lost out there. The only passes he completes are check downs or on miraculous catches by his receivers. I don't understand why they don't even give Lorenzen a shot. He's fat and out of shape, but he can throw a heck of a football.

Had him in a dynasty and won last year but just couldn't take it any more. He is too painful to watch. Yes receivers should take part of the game but the bottom line is when things are this bad it's up to the QB to make changes. My 12 year old(when he was 12) would be better than he was. They have to do something.
Bill Swerski
To Eli's credit, the line he's played behind in NY has been consistently bad. That said, there's no excuse for some of the inexplicably bad throws he makes. Even with his noodle for an arm, Pennington has looked much better over the years on a less-talented offense. Eli won't last more than another season in NY.
cliaz
I had him last year and suffered at his hands. After almost every throw he has that "Awe, Shucks" on his face.

Eli's been coasting on his name imo and isn't very professional.

Receivers would never be consisently out of position like this after several years in any system. Burress and Shockey don't exactly strike me as the "preparation warrior" types. Not sure how much they're buying into the program, especially considering that neither respect the HC. Eli's been coasting on his name imo and isn't very professional. Agreed with that. While Tiki was a massive oil and vinegar for revealing those comments about Eli's leadership skills, they're very telling. I'm not sure that he has the stones to truly "lead" an offense. I have yet to see him get in the face of a teammate on the sideline like his brother does on occasion.

Bill Swerski
Said it before , I'll say it again. Lorenzen.... would be a better QB IMHO. That sounds pretty knee-jerk to me, especially since Lorenzen has done absolutely nothing to validate your prediction. But I do agree that the Giants would benefit from a new QB and, perhaps more importantly, a complete overhaul of the coaching staff. It's difficult to win games when the players don't respect the HC and don't play hard for him.
CaP'N GRuNGe
The Vikings were in his face all day finally bringing some heat to the QB. He does flash some nice skills from time to time. His receivers missed a number of catches today. Eli may not be "all that" but I bet there are a number of teams that would be glad to give him a try - including the Vikings. Afterall, it seems he has a knack for hitting players with purple spamshirts for TDs.
xtra
Some of his throws just looked akward coming out of his hand today,I was actually wondering if the shoulder injury he had earlier in the year had anything to do with it.I could care less either way,but something looked off in his throwing motion. Hugh 0ne
This isn't all on Eli. WR's ran wrong routes, Burress hasn't practiced all year, tons of dropped balls, and they were playing a tremendous pass defense. Eli made some bad decisions and passes, but it's not all on him. It's difficult to win games when the players don't respect the HC and don't play hard for him. I don't think you can blame the coach this time. The coaches and players are no where near as divided as in the past. Coach Coughlin had to modify his "style" or face an out and out mutiny this yr. If you listen to the players this season they reflect a large change in his approach I will agree with you on this though, 100% ,a change at QB would help this club immensly. J-Lo has a very strong arm and is also a "large" presence on the field when he has seen it. I really think with some reps he could be a very serviceable NFL QB. I don't really see the switch coming though, the brass is very stubborn and heavily invested in "little Manning" . A switch would be an admission that they made a HUGH mistake with this kid,.... not likely to happen me thinks.
Front Row
Eli made some bad decisions and passes, but it's not all on him. Just mostly on him , this isn't something new with this guy, I think most NYG fans would agree Eli is holding the rest of the club back.
