theeohiostate
How did Hawaii not move ? Mizzou jumping WV is correct Georgia at #4 confirms my opinon that they're the best team in the SEC. I'd love a Pitt and OU win to have the Bucks and Dawgs square off

theeohiostate
Hawaii was 15 last week. I know, but beating a ranked team and remaining undefeated, I was sure they'd break the top ten , If Kansas got to be #2 for being undefeated, the least Hawaii deserves is to be ranked ahead of all the 2 loss teams. No justice for the small schools. KU did nothing to deserve a #2 spot, so why isn't the same respect being given to Hawaii.

I'd love a Pitt and OU win to have the Bucks and Dawgs square off I read somewhere last night Georgia wont make the title game. If OU and Pitt win next week, LSU will jump back to #2 for winning the SEC. If Ten beats LSU, then Va tech or SC or OU will be #2. . The polls wont let a team that isnt the best in its division, let alone conference make the title game. Edited November 26, 2007 by Sgt. Rockerbraves
Oklahoma this weekend, when they beat Missouri again. Wrong Sarge, but good try. Hint: This team has beaten "Two Teams" in the top 10 this season.
Sgt. Ryan
Wrong Sarge, but good try. Hint: This team has beaten "Two Teams" in the top 10 this season. Va Tech is a fraud, they have beaten no one, and lost both games to decent opponents. They are the ACC version of Kansas, and shouldnt be in the top 15, let alone top

Then again if Kansas shouldn't be ranked who has Missouri beaten?

They just don't go to the SEC Championship game because of the head-to-head loss to Tennessee. Although I would love to see them in the NC game, and think they would have had a shot if the hadn't started the year off with a stupid loss to Spurrier and the Gamecocks, they just don't deserve it because of having lost two games. It's unfortunate because they are probably he HOTTEST team in the country right now, riding a 6 game win streak (3 of which were top 20 ranked), and while other teams are faltering down the stretch UGA has been dominate every week. UGA is just as good if not better than all the teams that are now being mentioned for the NC game... too bad they won't get a chance to prove it. But look out next year. The will have ALOT of this team returning, and should be a true contender next year!!!

Will the Bulldogs proudly display a SEC East Champions banner in their stadium like Ole Piss does after getting beat by LSU in 2003?

Naaa....they will just keep the SEC Champion banners they hung in 2002 and 2005!! Especially the 2005 one...it's much more current than the 2003 edition you make reference to. Heck maybe LSU should get one of those dang co-champion banners things since we ended up with an identical SEC record as those Bulldogs did in 2005. Or maybe Auburn should have won the SEC in 2005 since they ended the SEC season at 7-1. . Edited November 26, 2007 by Rockerbraves
millerx
Agreed it's hard to consider your team co-champions when you lose to that team 35-14. Exactly. And the score of that game is generous. The Dawgs got a solid beat down in that game. The co-champions title is just something the SEC gives them. Heck you should know: Year Eastern Division Western Division 1992 Florida*, Georgia Alabama 1993 Florida Alabama 1994 Florida Alabama 1995 Florida Arkansas 1996 Florida Alabama*, LSU 1997 Tennessee Auburn*, LSU 1998 Tennessee Arkansas, Mississippi State* 1999 Florida Alabama 2000 Florida Auburn 2001 Tennessee Auburn, LSU* 2002 Georgia Arkansas*, Auburn, LSU 2003 Florida, Georgia*, Tennessee LSU, Mississippi 2004 Tennessee Auburn 2005 Georgia Auburn, LSU* 2006 Florida Arkansas 2007 Tennessee* Georgia * denotes tie-break winner and subsequent division representative edit: Dang it, when I cut and pasted this, it had nice columns, and showed the co-champs from the past years....oh well. Rockerbraves
You know I'm just pickin. Rockerbraves
Here's an idea. Maybe if LSU does win the SEC Championship game this weekend and Hawaii loses to Washington we could convince the other BCS bowls to allow the Sugar Bowl to take Georgia. This way America's college football fans could finally have a true National Champion Game. Edited November 26, 2007 by Rockerbraves

millerx
You know I'm just pickin. Same here. I took no hard feelings. Like you said, it would be nice to have SEC representation in the NC game, but sometimes this is what happens when playing in the best conference in college football.
