TheGrunt
I just got your email regarding "A Fantasy Football Gift For Yourself", and because I just finished "Why Fantasy Football Matters (And Our Lives Do Not)" I need new bathroom reading material. Don't take the 'bathroom reading' material thing as a negative comment either! I love nothing more than reading an interesting Fantasy Football book while enjoying my morning... um, expel of human waste. Sometimes I'll even bring my coffee with me so that I can finish a whole chapter without the need to refill my caffeine need. So my question is this: is this book one that I can sit down, read a few pages, and then come back to it either later that day ( ) or the next day without the need to remember exactly what I read in the previous chapter? Or is this one that I'll need to devote massive brain power towards just to take in all of the information given to me? And will I laugh? I love to laugh while taking a poop... it helps relax the muscles and drop the dingle berry's. I guess the only reason I ask is because it took me a long freakin' time to finish the other Fantasy Football book, so I'll need something that can keep me interested, but not keep me on the porcelain longer than desired. I'm also not sure if you read "Why Fantasy Football Matters", but if there is one distinct difference your book will offer that most other fantasy football books do not, how would you describe this difference? I'm not meaning to put pressure on your answer, and in fact I am likely to purchase your book in the next few days regardless of how you respond. I just wanted to see what interesting or funny comments you or others who have read your book have to say. I have no doubt it's a great book, so I look forward to reading it! And it is set up as a ... uh.. casual.. when you have... uh.... 5 minutes... type of book. All in DMD's easy going style too. I think I'll probably read it again before next season. DMD
I intentionally wrote it so that you could pick it up and read a few pages and get something out of it. I wrote it with the... throne.... in mind. While chapters are obviosuly related, I tried to write it more so that each chapter would stand alone all by itself so you could certainly read it all after about 20 meals... maybe 5 or 6 meals if they were all McRibs.
