splotchman
Per ESPN.com: News: The injury that Hall sustained Sunday is being called a high ankle sprain, the Broncos' official site reports. Spin: With Travis Henry dealing with a sore knee and a possible suspension and Selvin Young also banged up, this could get dicey for the Broncos. There's always Mike Bell if they get in a real pinch in Week 13 though. Nov. 26, 6:45 PM ET Do any Bronco homers have any insight how serious this injury is? Glad I learned my lesson and decided to draft a Denver RB...
Jackass
high ankle sprain does not sound good. at least they have mike bell. could do a lot worse for a 4th string rb.

DMD
Hall sprained his ankle in the first series and still played. Not sure if he worsened it, but he had a sprain from the start. From the team reports: Andre Hall sprained his ankle on the first play of the game. He stayed in, and to his credit he had 26 carries, but eventually came out of the game in the fourth quarter. He said he should be fine with some rest.Selvin Young was inactive against Chicago. He has a knee injury, but did practice late last week and could return against Oakland.Travis Henry should hear this week about his appeal to the NFL over a one-year suspension. Except for the fact that Bell can't hang on to the football. Dude fumbles.
splotchman
Hall sprained his ankle in the first series and still played. Not sure if he worsened it, but he had a sprain from the start. From the team reports: Thanks DMD. With my luck, they will suspend Henry and both Selvin and Andre will be inactive against the Raiders and then somebody will beat me to the waiver wire on Mike Bell who will then go off for 200 and 2 Tds. Love me some Denver RBs. Edited November 27, 2007 by splotchman

Wolverines Fan
Except for the fact that Bell can't hang on to the football. Dude fumbles. I wonder if Shanny would start Cecil Sapp.
Shutez
I wonder if Shanny would start Cecil Sapp. I was thinking the same thing. Sapp started at tailback before Bell in preseason. Also, he came in this past week when Hall went down. My advice for you is to go after Sapp and laugh at the guy who took Mike Bell before you. Incidentally, weren't both Sapp AND Bell made to be Fullbacks? Yet Sapp has gotten the starts at that position. I'm sure I'm wrong on all this because no one is talking about it anywhere. Hope I'm right though... picked up Sapp on a hunch in my main league before Hall got injured. Tim
JoJoTheWebToedBoy
So, for RB depth, how many levels do I need to keep on my roster. I already have 3 Denver RBs..... Do I have to start drafting scout team guys....
Bronco Billy
Except for the fact that Bell can't hang on to the football. Dude fumbles. I'll call BS on this one. I can find some damn prolific RBs who have fumbled at a greater rate than 2 times in 163 attempts, and only lost 1 fumble in 163 attempts, like Bell has. What Shanahan did with Bell least game was downright idiotic, and the announcers called him on it after watching Hall and how incredibly ineffective he is. Sure, he had a nice catch & run in space and he's great on the option play as the trail RB, but he also had a stretch where he gained about 7 total yds rushing in 9 consecutive carries. I said it before, I'll say it again - Hall is a poor man's Tatum Bell. He has no business being on the field except as CoP relief.

Benson has been labeled a fumbler by some and he had 197 carries with two fumbles, and the second one in the Dallas game his knee was down. So that makes 138+ carries without a fumble since. He has not been very impressive but I would not call him a fumbler.
