skinpig
Surprised I can't find anything anywhere about this...if it were reversed we'd have MIkegate...and a 10 page thread about it...and our other #1 pick would be gone... Anybody notice how loud and clear Brady's signals were last night on TV? Heard Boomer talking about it on the Big Show (WEEI) this afternoon...Boomer said he would mention it during tonight's telecast. You could even hear Brady talking to Moss and Gafney at the line in plain English. Speculation I heard was that it was just the TV parabolics turned way up. Any homers pick up on this? Bill Swerski
I also noticed how the refs' mics weren't working early on. I guess that Belicheat rigged the wrong set.
'canes2004
I thought it was great how you could hear Brady call for protection and signal the plays and change things up. Wish you could always hear whats going on in the trenches like that.
piratesownninjas
I noticed it too... Kind of odd...

I think itd be cool if they allowed it to always be like that, but I doubt itll ever happen.

They supposedly are trying to improve the audio of the Sunday night games.
Chief Dick
I noticed it too. Funny how you couldn't hear Feeley the same way. That's because AJ isn't nearly as handsome as Tom.

Bronco Billy
Brady couldn't have been miked. The game would have sounded like a maternity ward if he were.

Big John
Omaha or "96"..I heard him say 96 many times Different QBs have different sayings heard often in the callouts. For instance, Favre says "Blue 58" a lot.

keggerz
Omaha or "96"..I heard him say 96 many times Omaha means that he is calling and audible on the play....and when he was calling 96 it was to point out where the MLB(Gaither was) Edited November 27, 2007 by keggerz
Kid Cid
Omaha is a key word for an audible call(99.9% sure)....and when he was calling 96 it was to point out where the MLB(Gaither was) I have to wonder if they put a mike in the overhead cam. In any case, I'd like to see and hear more of that sort of thing.

Bronco Billy
Omaha means that he is calling and audible on the play....and when he was calling 96 it was to point out where the MLB(Gaither was) I assume when he's calling "Greek" and "69" that he's talking about locating Giselle... TimC
I heard him say "I am not your father" and "your Mother tried to get me to marry her" during a 3rd quarter drive. It was kinda random.
jjpro11
since the pats are so "F*** YOU" to everyone.. next time they play on sunday night brady should start shouting out the worst cuss words he can think of just to stick it to the nfl.
