Abram Elam going forward

Is seems Elam(Jets) is benefiting from Harris taking tackles away from Rhodes and is the better S play there for now.

Will Rhodes continue his centerfield type play and be away from the LOS going forward?

Picked him up this week to replace Sean Taylor.

No one? OK.

He is IMO a hit or miss safety. The Jets defense was on the field all day against Dallas, and Elam racked up nice numbers, but the week before that against Pit, he was rotated out a lot. It is clear that E Coleman is in the dog house, but he still gets in as does E Smith. Elam tends to make mistakes, like blown coverages, and that means he could ride pine at a moment's notice. I see him as liabilty, but he did get most of the snaps against Dallas.

I don't expect that the Miami offense will offer the FF point production Dallas did. I know, that isn't much help, but he's a nice pickup for this year I suppose. At that safey spot, it's a bit of a gamble right now, because Mangini can switch gears in a hurry. I would not put money on who might start and get the most snaps against Miami, but I would have to say it's more likely that Elam gets the start, but certainly it's subject to change.
