I mean - its not like Miami doesn't miss more often than not with picks - but DANG. Put the kid in there - what do they have to lose? BumpNRun Posted November 30, 2007 Share Posted November 30, 2007 I have heard that he has a hard time picking up the blocks and blitz as well.......I would have thought by now they would have used him......at least as a dump off out of the backfield on a few plays........If the backs keep getting hurt, then maybe? I was reading some of the Miami Herald Blogs yesterday and they were talking about how well he still seems to be doing. They have been trying him as a slot reciever as well, which I find interesting. I can see his not being about to block leading to his lack of playing time though. He doesn't have much weight to hold up a passrusher and Beck is our future. They have been trying him as a slot reciever as well, which I find interesting. I can see his not being about to block leading to his lack of playing time though. He doesn't have much weight to hold up a passrusher and Beck is our future. I saw him at training camp a few times I went with the family.....I actually sit away from the family as I get way to into it.......He runs and catches well, he runs crisp routes...... Especially as a 3rd down out of the backfield type.....Chatt seems to have always been nicked or hurt after a few good games...even with his familarity with Cam in the Bolts days...I never envisioned he would become the feature back. behind Ronnie...he does run hard, but I thought book would be a better fit so that he would be moved around on downs for certain plays ....R. Brown (whom I drafted) really turned it on and ran good, looked good as the O line pulled together...... .Now it 's up to Cobbs if Chatt is down foe any time...but I like Gado believe it or not.....well lat least till next year..... Considering how banged up we are and how little talent we have to work with - I think that Beck has done pretty dang well. He looks confident and hasn't made any 'big' mistakes.
