I'll be getting in touch with Slayer, Tbimm and any others in the area for a drink or lunch when I'm in town. We're looking on staying 3 or 4 days , coming in after New Year's day and staying to the day after the big game. This is the best 2 loss team in all sports history, and they never really lost a game, 'cept the ones in OT, which really shouldn't count as it's not fair or real football. Both teams won their respective conferences. Both teams lost their 2nd to last game, and both won their last game of the season. To suggest OSU backdoored anything, without conceeding the same point for any other team that may have made the game is off base and a bias opinon without substance. The only teams that finished the season in solid fashion without dumping a game in the last 3 weeks is Georgia, and they can't be considered as they didn't even win the SEC. No other school can say that. no doubt- under this curent BS system- they deserve it. The problem is there is no way to establish this crap without a playoff. OSU had an absolute cupcake NC schedule, and the Big 10 was very down this year- and nothing can be done about it. Sorry, OSU just isn't that great, this team comes thru the SEC, Pac 10 or Big 12 with 2-3 losses witthout question IMO. They would be an underdog to USC/ OKL and probably UGA. I'd like to say its out of protest vs. the BCS, but its just due to the $. We just bought a little dog for $800 - plus all the stuff to go with him - so there goes the extra holiday stash. He's a cute little guy, but man, he's no golden or lab that I can take into the hills. The wife wins this one, again. I'll let you guys know when I get my balls back.
