CaptainHook
Amazing fact: Since the 2002 realignment that created the AFC South, the Colts have led the division or been tied for the division lead in 91 of 98 weeks.

Amazing fact #2: In the seasons during the Manning Era that Indy has made the playoffs (1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005), the team has averaged a remarkable 27.2 points per game in the regular season. No offense has been more prolific for a longer period of time.

tomfin2000
the jags are just like the biggest fraud of a team..they are just a tease...they will never win a big game against a great team...especially being led by del rio and tice Up until a few weeks ago, I would have agreed with you whole heartedly. I live here in Jax, and I've been ragging on the Harris-Del Rio era Jags for years. However, this is the first time I can look at them and say that they are as good as their record. They appear to be focused and are playing like a well coached team. They are also not playing up or down to the level of their opponents the way they have in prior seasons. I actually think this year's team is much better than the one that went 12-4 a couple of years ago. Again, believe they are as good as their record, and at 8-4, that makes them a good football team. Unfortunately for the Jags, the Colts are a VERY good football team, and at the end of the day, the Jags still don't have the firepower to keep up with them. It will be interesting to see what they do during the offseason. Will they go out and get the players they need in order to compete at the next level, or will they do what they've done the past several years which is pretty much nothing? I've turned the corner on Del Rio, but I still think Shack Harris is part of the problem, not part of the solution.

Amazing Fact #4 The Colts are the first Dome team to win a Super Bowl in an outdoor stadium. EDIT: And, they are only the second Dome team to ever win a Super Bowl (The 1999 "greatest show on turf" Rams won in an indoor stadium). They've had borderline-elite defenses (never ranked lower than 7th in points allowed) since 2004 and have a whole one playoff appearance (in which they got trounced by a not-that-great Pats team) to show for it. And it's not like the AFC South has been that competitive of a division over that time. Del Rio sure knows how to put together a defense, but he doesn't seem capable of leading a team. Bill Swerski
The Colts have made their own SuperBowl Shuffle CD. That's one thing the Jags won't have to worry about doing this year... or next year... or the year after that.
