#1 Niners Fan Posted December 3, 2007 Share Posted December 3, 2007 Cant believe I have a shot, since I was in LAST PLACE at the beginning of last week, but I am the Ohio State of our league...everything I have needed to happen thus far has happened, and now I am in the playoffs if neither of the following happen...standard yahoo scoring... Tom Brady scoring 34 points (that would cost me the win this week) Derrick Mason scoring 27 points (that would cost me the tiebreaker I am currently winning) Feel pretty good on the second one...first one worries me a little though...either way, cant believe I am playing for something right now! Odds are looking good, the other 2 teams have higher points, much higher 2nd League-win, and 1 team loose and hope points are high enough against 2 others I feel good about my first league, 2nd league will take a miracle. Donutrun Jellies Posted December 5, 2007 Share Posted December 5, 2007 Four leagues ... 10-3 in a 12 with 6 plaoff teams, #2 locked up, get a bye out of week 14 into the semi-finals ... 6-6-1 in a 12 with 8 playoff teams, #5 - outside chance at beating #4 in the quarters in week 14... 12-1 in an 8 with 4 playoff teams, #1 locked up so week 14 is essentially a bye -- I have Romo/TO, the #2 has Brady/Moss ... 7-6 in an 8 with 4 playoff teams, tied for #4 but he owns the tiebreaker ... Need Brees & LT to carry me to victory while elsewhere Hass & Portis upset Romo & Addai -- the frustrating thing is the team I need to pull the upset has an absentee owner, so he likely won't be starting his best lineup so the chances of an upset are nowhere near as good as they could be, so I likely won't sneak into the playoffs in this one.
