Avernus
Norwood starting for Falcons Jerious Norwood, RB ATL News: Falcons coach Bobby Petrino made a notable lineup change against the Rams. Jerious Norwood made his first start of the season at RB and led the team with eight carries for 94 yards. Norwood is averaging 6.4 yards per carry but hasn't had as many as 10 carries in a game. He has 442 yards rushing on only 69 carries. Former starter Warrick Dunn has 190 carries for 600 yards, for 3.2 yards per carry. Many observers expected Norwood, a second-year back who also averaged 6.4 yards per carry as a rookie, to assume a lead role at the start of the season. Now it appears his time has come. "We have to get Jerious touches, there's no question," Petrino said. "When you watch the video he's the most explosive player for us. His speed shows up. He makes big plays whether it's catching the ball or running the ball." Analysis: Norwood is worth picking up in most Fantasy leagues if he's available because the Falcons will likely give him an extended look the rest of the season. Consider him a No. 3 Fantasy option against the Saints in Week 14 and a decent reserve RB going forward. I don't know how they interpret that as "starting".....but it's definitely good and bad for me......decisions, decisions SJax AD Norwood LenDale Young... I know It's not that difficult....AT ALL....but I wish it was pre-trade deadline right now...
DMD
Dunn was the official starting RB for the game and had two carries in the first series while Norwood showed uo for the second series, so unless first series do not count, Norwood wasn't the starter. capostatus
we've heard this before........ norwood supposed to get "a lot more touches" "will be more involved" blah blah blah and he continues to get less than 10 total touches a game while dunn musters impressive 1.7YPC numbers luckily i can still use his as a weapon since my league gives return yardage pts. got me 16 pts and hes always a threat to break one. i wish theyd just start him though, that team is going nowhere and dunn is old. please start him in weeks 16 & 17 petrino

I was thinking this was assumed after the game...not during or before... I didn't get anything from the article that said he would start other than Sportsline's speculation
