Cameltosis
According to SportsCenter, the NFL rulebook states referee's are only supposed to accept timeout calls from players on the field and the head coach. I dont have the time to look up the link for NFL rules right now, I will try later. Yet, Ryan was allowed to call the timeout on 4th and 1 allowing the Pats a second life. It has been become more accepted to allow other coaches make the call by some ref's, however, it is not the rule. What gives them the right to make their own judgements about the rule book? Next thing you know they will be reviewing field goals by watching the big screens! CHEATERS!!!
