Randall
Last I heard. Running back roundup: Rusher Ahman Green, who has battled a knee injury since Week 2 and sat out against the Titans, continued to show progress. Green practiced with the scout team last week and Wednesday he took reps with the starting offense. Cutting drills have been causing swelling in Green’s knee, so the Pro Bowler will continue to be listed as day-to-day. Running back Ron Dayne, who started for Green in the last three games, sat out of practice with a sore ankle. He is expected to play against the Buccaneers. http://www.houstontexans.com/news/Story.asp?STORY_ID=3992
tomfin2000
Green should have been shut down weeks ago. If he can't do cutting drills without his knee swelling up, he can't play without his knee swelling up. That's been proven out all season long. It's almost as though Kubiak and the Texans are trying to "punish" Green for being a free agency bust by making him come out and practice every time the swelling starts to go down a bit.
