bigdadreed
What about "Go ahead and crown 'em!" which was also part of the post-Bears game rant as I recall. Edited December 7, 2007 by bigdadreed
Chargerz
Capitalism at its finest! Where else can you say something so resoundingly stupid and then trademark it for potential financial gain? Brings a tear to my eye. :sniff:

Bill Swerski
Interesting, although I'm sure that Denny probably isn't happy with his home address being published on the web.
Pope Flick
What about "Go ahead and crown 'em!" which was also part of the post-Bears game rant as I recall. Ahem. WRONG. It was "if you want to crown them, then crown their ass." It's so much better. Also, in that rant, he never said that exact quote (they are who we thought they were) either, it was "The Bears" not "They." On a side note - putting him on the radio for the NFL network games is MUCH better than Kermit the Frog. He drops good football knowledge in coach speak that you don't generally get. I think he found his calling on the radio. Edited December 7, 2007 by Pope Flick

Pope Flick
Yeah, but Dick Enberg doesn't need to be there with him. Then you go right ahead and listen to Gumble, who's worse than Enberg BTW.

kcmast
There is one I like they used to play on KFAN while he was with the Vikings. I couldn't find a link, but it was something like "We can play when we play like we can play." He is a quote machine.

I couldn't find a link, but it was something like "We can play when we play like we can play." He is a quote machine. He;s on the "Feeling the Power" CD with about the dumbest quote on the thing: "we're going on the road, in the snow, into a hostile environment and we wouldn't have it any other way." I'm thinking: if you're the coach of the pass-happy Vikings in the mid 90's you - for starters - don't want to be playing in the snow and wind. ROYALWITCHEESE
Also, in that rant, he never said that exact quote (they are who we thought they were) either, it was "The Bears" not "They." He DID say "they". Second time he says it. He's says, "The Bears are what we thought they were. THEY're what we thought they were." Then again at the end, "THEY are who we thought they were, and we let 'em off the hook." I'm not sure what YOU are talking about.
