txpkrbkr
ST. LOUIS -- Rams quarterback Marc Bulger had a setback in his recovery from a concussion, meaning it's possible Brock Berlin, who has never attempted a pass in a regular-season game, might start Sunday at Cincinnati. Bulger began feeling poorly during meetings Thursday afternoon, said Rams coach Scott Linehan, who added that the decision on a starter is likely to be made late Saturday. Regular backup Gus Frerotte will be the emergency quarterback for the Rams. Frerotte partially tore the labrum in his right (throwing) shoulder in Sunday's win over Atlanta. Frerotte can hand off but is unable to throw, Linehan said.

Hugh 0ne
Well, that might help SJax and hurt Holt/Bruce.
keggerz
start the bengals D this week: even if bulger plays you have to worry he wont make it thru the game and that will leave Berlin and Bouman as backups
bigdadreed
Not sounding real good for a Bulger start: STL Post-Dispatch link
Bill Swerski
Well, that might help SJax and hurt Holt/Bruce. As would STL's third-stringer playing this weekend.
splotchman
Just read on Rotoworld that Bulgert is out this week. As a Holt owner, I am glad I have a first round bye this week.
Ursa Majoris
Well, that might help SJax and hurt Holt/Bruce. Is this an entry for the Understatement Of The Year competition?

STL Fan
Well, that might help SJax and hurt Holt/Bruce. I disagree wholeheartedly. The loss of Bulger with Gus out hurts that whole offense. Cincinatti will undoubtedly stack 8 or 9 in the box to stop SJax, and force the Rams to beat them through the air. If Berlin can't do it (and no one really thinks he can) SJax is toast, especially since the d-backs in STL are short-handed meaning that the Bengals are going to run it up and STL will be forced to throw to try and keep up. This doesn't strike me as a ball-control grind-it-out kind of game at this point.
