cre8tiff
End of the year shopping time for keepers (ho-ho-ho) Now what non-starters (or starting only because the primary is hurt) become studs next year? I grabbed Turner, because of the contract, but is he just a red herring?
piratesownninjas
I like Turner the most, followed by Norwood. I'm not high on Williams at all, as he still hasn't been able to supplant DeShaun Foster in two years.
Randall
I like Turner the most, followed by Norwood. I'm not high on Williams at all, as he still hasn't been able to supplant DeShaun Foster in two years. I think that has more to do with John Fox than Williams' ability. I'm not so sure he's gotten a fair chance. I could be wrong but next year should tell.
Riffraff
Not going with the "top 10 theme," just RB musings in general. The obvious "back-ups": MJD (Taylor is getting up there). RBush (played RB because Duece is injured). Barber (JJ is a free agent). Turner (free agent) MMorris (Alexander is getting up there) Norwood (or whomever Atlanta drafts/brings in) The injured: McAllister MBush (Fargas is a free agent) Caddy (Graham?) RBrown Ricky WIlliams (could be traded) Green (but probably done as a starter) SMorris (was outplaying Maroney) Free agency or other twists?: JLewis (free agent) JJones (free agent) Fargas (free agent) Jordan (will be cut) Dayne (free agent) Harrison or someone else (Lewis is a free agent. no 1st round draft pick) Bradshaw or someone else (Jacobs can't stay healthy. Ward and/or Droughns could be released). Rookies: Probably 3-4 first rounders next year. One taken for talent over need, two for need, and a fourth taken for quality depth behind a solid starter. MB3 will be a Restricted FA
Riffraff
MB3 will be a Restricted FA Correct, but this isn't fantasy football. No NFL team will pursue him at the cost. Of course, he'll have competition from whoever they draft/bring in.
