cre8tiff
Sportsline is reporting this. Marc Bulger, QB STLNews: According to published reports, Rams QB Marc Bulger will not play Week 14 at Cincinnati after suffering a setback as he tries to recover from a concussion. Brock Berlin will make his first career start Sunday against the Bengals. Recently signed Todd Bouman will dress as the backup quarterback and Gus Frerotte, who is nursing a right shoulder injury, will dress as the emergency QB. Analysis: Bulger was optimistic he would play earlier in the week after passing a neurological exam Tuesday. But he started to feel down on Thursday and the Rams are just being cautious by holding him out Week 14. There has been no word on when Bulger might return to action. It has been a disappointing season for Bulger, who was considered among the top five Fantasy QBs heading into the season. His offensive line suffered some severe losses early on and that led to a lingering ribs issue for Bulger since he didn't receive the proper protection in the pocket. At this point, he appears headed for sleeper status come Draft Day 2008. He could be in for a big comeback season.
