Either I wait 1 minute or more each time I move to another screen or topic ... or I hit the stop/refresh until I get to a banner that will load (seems like this is always the Football Fanshop banner). I know thehuddle.com makes some money off these banners, and I don't begrudge them that. I don't use an ad blocker because I don't want to cost them $$. I can't take the load times anymore.
