H8tank
Biggest game of the weekend for sure, both teams are pretty much guaranteed a playoff spot with a win, the field is going to be a wet, nasty mess which I feel favors the Jags, with Fred, Mojo and the beast Greg Jones they should be able to push the The only 6 time Super Bowl Winners and YOUR DADDY off the ball, especially considering Pitt's recent injuries. I think Jax wins in a close, nasty game, 27-17. Current line is Pitt -3.
DemonKnight
Pitt rolls 24-3, bank it.
H8tank
They have lost to three teams with losing records. They have beaten only one team with a record equal to theirs (Seattle, from a weak NFC West). They have also played a weak schedule; their opponents’ combined record is 77-92. heydave76
If the Colts win and Jacksonville beats the Steelers the Colts clinch the #2 seed. Because of thiis ,the cry in the Jaguars locker room will be, " Win one for the Colts!" This is why I believe Jacksonville will win.
Menudo
Steelers win.................and I'll be there to see it.
Menudo
Actually, this is a tough one to call and should be a great game...... Both teams are 9-4 and in the 2nd tier of NFL teams (imho) Jags have owned the Steelers recently Steelers are undefeated at home (7-0), winning 5 of them by 14+ points Both teams have solid defenses and like to run the ball Garrard and Roethlisberger are 3rd & 4th respectively at QB Rating in the NFL Also, the winner has the inside track on winning the $100 bet between myself and H8tank............. Caveman_Nick
I would like to pick Jax, but it's tough to pick against PIT at home.
jjpro11
the last 2 jacksonville wins came against tommy maddox in 05 and ben's first game back from his injuries in 06. this time ben is healthy. the jags are the ones who are banged up right now. we are an inconsistent football team that hasnt lost consecutive games all season. we always fire back following losses and i see it no differently on sunday. we are undefeated at home also. McBoog
I think JAX has an edge here. The letdown from the Pat's game will have an effect and the Jags want to make a statement. Low scoring contest in OT: JAX 13 PIT 10 (hey, I love a good D struggle in the muck!)

SteelerMurf
say what? Yep, another win at home in a flood. What's your point?
Furd
Well, Pittsburgh doesn't know how to read a blueprint, so I'll go with Jacksonville.
H8tank
Yep, another win at home in a flood. What's your point? They have lost to three teams with losing records, and could barely beat the worst team in the NFL. I really don't see how you can have any confidence in your team right now. H8tank
Did you say snow and mud? Special teams! The Jaguars lead the league in covering kickoffs, whereas the Steelers are 28th.
tomfin2000
This is the first truly good Jags team I've seen in the seven seasons I've lived here. They're focused, they're well-coached, they execute, and they make very few mistakes. If you're going to beat them, you have to have them outgunned by a wide margin, and right now, I don't think the Steelers fall in that category. Jags, 20-

jjpro11
maybe the jags are going to get lucky once again with our QB situation. http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/07347/84146...id=steelers.xml Roethlisberger sits out practice again Thursday, December 13, 2007 By Ed Bouchette, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is not practicing for the second straight day because of a sore right shoulder. Roethlisberger also did not practice on Wednesday. Backup Charlie Batch has taken over for him both days. Coach Mike Tomlin on Tuesday announced that Roethlisberger had a sore shoulder but that it was nothing serious. "Ben Roethlisberger has a sore shoulder, which may limit him some on Wednesday,'' Tomlin said. "I don't want to make more out of it than what it is. It is just sore." CaptainHook
and the beast Greg Jones Did you see the hit Bob Sanders put on the "beast Greg Jones" at the goal line a couple weeks ago? Or had you already shut off your tv set?
myhousekey
Pitt lost last week. Jax won last week. In a league of parity I believe they flip-flop this week.
Square
I could use a big game from the JAX defense. Maybe an interception returned for a TD? Close game, but I'm going to go with JAX. They seem to be more consistent.
H8tank
Did you see the hit Bob Sanders put on the "beast Greg Jones" at the goal line a couple weeks ago? Or had you already shut off your tv set? You're sure a cocky little twink for barely beating the lowly Jags, did you forget the score little twinkie? 28-25? You're #2 defense gave up how many yards? Look twink... remember these three words.... "one and done." You can't sit on the 2006 season forever, your 13 INT QB is not going anywhere in the playoffs... he'll choke. Skippy
I have the Steelers in a pretty close and lower scoring game. 24 - 20 or so.
