irish
Dayne Out? The Houston Chronicle reports the Texans are planning to play Thursday's game against the Broncos without Ron Dayne, who is recovering from an ankle injury. Dayne only had seven carries in week 14 before being replaced by Darius Walker who had 46 yards rushing and 35 yards receiving. It's likely that Walker would get the start again in place of Dayne. Piles
Per Rotoworld: "Ron Dayne is active Thursday night, but undrafted rookie Darius Walker will start at running back for the Texans. Dayne has been nursing an ankle injury. This news makes both extremely risky plays, even though either could have a big game against Denver's porous run defense. But with Dayne up, Walker is unlikely to get goal-line chances. Walker should dominate any passing game work, but which back will end up with the most playing time overall is anyone's guess." Too bad because I like Walker a lot in a PPR league.... Can't risk it though

FantasyGuy20
eff it I have to start Walker. I have nothing favorable with Kolby Smith (against TEN), Fargas (prob throwing all day against IND), and MJD (at Pitt).
Guest ksu70
For my semifinal matchup I am going against AD, Lynch and LT. For my pick 2 from Grant, Walker and Taylor I am benching Taylor at the Steelers and "swinging" for the fences with Walker.

irish
Well that sorta backfired on me. 7.8 points from Walker just won't do. I mean I also have AJ with his 20.6 points but Walker might've killed my chances. Time will tell.

I mean I also have AJ with his 20.6 points but Walker might've killed my chances. Time will tell. I look at it this way. Walker rushed for 5.0 yards per carry, so it was a good call. Even though Dayne was active, I don't think any of us expected him to get the amount of work he did after not being able to even do the walkthrough yesterday. Also, if Walker had been able to score on that carry from the 1 yard line, we wouldn't even be having this conversation. So I think it was worth a shot. I just didn't work out the way we hoped it would.

Oh well...moving on and I hope the rest of the squad performs well.

(I saw tonight, to my surprise, that you put Walker in).
