MistaWrite
I've read a LOT of threads here referencing how people have added Gaffney, and are planning to play him over a lot of familiar names (just like me). He's looked good the past few weeks, but will it continue ... especially THIS week? If it doesn't, a lot of us gambling GM's FF seasons will be OVER. What do you think? :D :D

Crazysight
He's a flash. He's their most reliable sure-handed receiver right now, so he may be good for some points especially if the weather is a factor in games, but I don't think he can be relied on for points. If you don't have better options he might be worth a look though. Most of the looks should still be to their 3 most athletic receivers however. Crazysight
I think Gafney has inherited Troy Brown's former role as a possession type/whose hands does Brady have the most confidence in in a pinch receiver.
SeductiveNun
I just picked him up and am currently starting him, however there's a good chance I swap him out before the games on Sunday depending on weather in NE and if Santonio Holmes is looking good to go. I saw he's been practicing so far, but I picked up Gaffney for insurance since my other WRs are James Jones, and Battle. I did end up cutting Javon Walker to get Gaffney though. ETA - My other starting WR is Owens, the above listed are who I have for a #2 choice. Just so you think my WR corps wasn't completely putrid. charty
He's basically worked himself ahead of Stallworth. So, after Moss and Welker, there is Gaffney, Stallworth, and Watson. Gaffney is as likely to have a 1 catch, 8 yard game as he is a 7 catch, 122 yds + TD game. If you can live with that uncerntainty, go for it. He has had a TD in 3 straight games though. Boston.com does an offensive participation breakdown after every game. If the Pats put in a gameplan similiar to the Steelers game, you're all set. If the gameplan is similar to the one against the Ravens, you're screwed. Vs. Pittsburgh WR Randy Moss -- 53 of 57 WR Wes Welker -- 44 of 57 WR Jabar Gaffney -- 42 of 57 RB Kevin Faulk -- 39 of 57 WR Donte' Stallworth -- 32 of 57 TE Benjamin Watson -- 28 of 57 TE Kyle Brady -- 18 of 57 RB Laurence Maroney -- 18 of 57 Vs. Ravens WR Randy Moss -- 65 of 69 snaps WR Wes Welker -- 65 of 69 WR Donte' Stallworth -- 56 of 69 TE Benjamin Watson -- 42 of 69 RB Kevin Faulk -- 36 of 69 TE Kyle Brady -- 32 of 69 RB Laurence Maroney -- 29 of 69 WR Jabar Gaffney -- 8 of 69 Vs. Eagles WR Randy Moss -- 71 of 73 snaps WR Wes Welker -- 61 of 73 WR Donte' Stallworth -- 58 of 73 RB Kevin Faulk -- 53 of 73 WR Jabar Gaffney -- 40 of 73 TE Benjamin Watson -- 38 of 73 TE Kyle Brady -- 17 of 73 RB Laurence Maroney -- 15 of
CaP'N GRuNGe
Grabbed him for both my playoff teams. Starting him in one where I also have Brady, but my other WR options aren't that great. Not sure if I'll start him or not in my other. In that league I'm playing AGAINST Brady (& Welker). He'd be my 3rd WR but other options include Chris Henry and David Patten. gilwiggum
Not sure if he will pay off this week as I expect the PATS will actually have to run the ball if there is snow on the ground. Although, I'd play him over Stallworth as this seems to be more of a possession receiver game than one for deep threats.
