charty
My local league has always had different free agent rules in the playoffs. No transactions are allowed unless you are in the playoffs, and you make a transaction to replace an injured player (Questionable or worse player). Also, you had to replace that player with the same position (RB for RB, WR for WR, etc.). We are having issues with the new injury rules (limited participation, etc.) and the Thursday night games. Anyone else having a simillar problem? Any suggestions?

charty
players are still listed as questionable, doubtful or out The biggest issue has been that the the "questionable, doubtful, etc." isn't released until Friday I believe. When there are Thursday games, it kind of throws a wrench in there. With less injury info earlier in the week, we just might need to do playoff transactions just like regular season and not worry about it (next year). Mark5
We gave up on our FA pickup rules (it use to be, they have to be listed as OUT on FRIDAY's report) so now we just opened it up to you can add/drop anybody for any reason.. we charge $15 per move and had 43 moves this year--cha-ching for the pot. as far as the Thursday games, we can still do add/drops up till Sunday but exclude players who played that Thursday game till next week. case in point-- ONE owner had BOTH Campbell and Grossman (we start 2 ) and he had to to scramble for the likes of Vinny and Boller.. Just drop the restrictions and charge enough money to make it worthwhile. Every coach is screwing with the injury report now..
