bushwacked
Granted, it's late in the season with two teams battling for nothing. Granted, it's the Cincy defense. But, Hill looks head and shoulders better than any San Fran QB I've seen sling the rock in a while. bushwacked
Djax must have tripled his average catches per game thus far.
SF409ers
I agree, I keep waiting for him to "come back down to earth" but he keeps playing pretty well. It's killing me because I started Ciny Def tonight but that is what I get for going after my own team.
mitpdub
Hill has been doing much better than Smith and Dilfer. Probably the best QB performance in years which says alot in how bad the niner QBs are. They paid Smith hugh $$ being the number 1 pick, so Hill was left to marinate on the bench. I hope he continues to do well and we ship that bust Smith out.
DocNiner52
I understand Smith's had a different OC every year and even giving him the benefit of the doubt because of that I don't think he's the right QB for the Niners. Granted he could use better receivers. I just don't see DJax returning close to his Seattle days numbers and Battle is just servicable IMO.I'm waiting on VDavis to explode but not sure that'll happen anytime soon.I still have faith that Gore can do a better than average job. What I'd like to see is for John York to get the hell outta town. Never liked the guy and wish we'd get a new owner. One that at least knows football. Still undecided about Nolan. I say we wipe the slate clean with all the management and most of the coaching staff and start over. I would also go in another direction and look for another QB. The Niners and the Cowboys both have 5 SB rings and as it looks now it's highly likely that Dallas will get their 6th ring before the Niners. One bright spot this year is LB Patrick Willis. He should win Def ROY. The 49ers looked to improve greatly before the season started and things just didn't fall into place like we had hoped. My loyalty for the 49ers won't waiver but I think it's time to do some drastic overhauling.
