Randall
He just did one on McNabb and rotoworld said this about being suspended for it. Cowboys SS Roy Williams was fined $15,000 for making a horse collar tackle last week. He may be subject to a suspension if he violates the rule again. Williams has now been fined twice in the last three games for the same penalty. The horse collar infraction has been nicknamed the "Roy Williams Rule." The NFL stated Friday that "future infractions (by Williams) could lead to increased disciplinary action up to and including suspension." budlitebrad
Forget that call, how about the head hunting by Hamlin earlier in the game. He'll be fined, but no flag? Reid has a right to be pissed for that one.

Reid has a right to be pissed for that one. It was shoulder to helmet not helmet to helmet. It was a hard hit ... but legal. Now the horse collar on the other hand Dallas should fine that idiot Roy Williams $10K every time he does that.

LosGatosEnFuegos
I haven't seen a horsecollar in a while, but I've seen 3 today. One in the Jet game, one in the Packer game, and now that one.

Randall
Hamlin used his shoulder but Roys play was a dangerous cheap tackle.. He's lucky Donovan's feet weren't planted when he did it. Fining him doesn't work so they may have to kick him out of games when he does it.
Ursa Majoris
Anybody see Hamlin dive in with his elbow on the grounded player? All he needed to do was touch him but he acted with the class that Dallas is renowned for instead.

BumpNRun
If the fine's don't deter him...then the league or the Cowboys should suspend him......especially when the rule was implemented do to his actions....

Lonestar39
As a Cowboy homer I've been, as others, totally frustrated with Roy Williams for a few years. The only reason he has to "horse collar' is because it's a last recourse to actually bring somebody down that has beat his aas. He's a liability in some respect but if not on the field directing the defense , ala Darren Woodson, then that's a liability. Hopefully one of these young guys will come through this year to take over that role.
