Randall
Now they have to keep winning to keep home field. That will keep fantasy players active and most of us should be happy about that.
Bronco Billy
Fear not, Packer fans! Cowboy HC & illegimate love-child of Jackie Gleason Wade Phillips will repeat his tried & true track record of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in at least one, if not both, of DAL's remaining games, leaving GB to mop up next week at Favre Field and then at home vs the DET Kittens, forcing all NFC teams to go through GB in the playoffs. The NFL scheduling committee won't be able to save DAL like they do in the regular season by making sure that GB always plays DAL in Little D. The SB is well within reach. Just make sure Barber stays in single digit carries, Wade, you moran.

Sgt. Ryan
I love how Green Bay fans cant let the beat down of a few weeks ago go. It wont matter where this game is played if both teams advance in the playoffs to meet each other. Green Bay couldnt beat Dallas anywhere. Dallas is more suited to play in the snow/cold than GB, as they have the more physical running game, and better run defense. Besides Romo is from that area, he has played in the cold his whole life. But whatever Packer fans.

whomper
I admit Dallas has issues they need to work out and fast if they want to advance in the post season but I truly dont fear Green bay. They were manhandling them when Favre was in there. Rodgers was really the only thing that made it as close of a game as it was. 3rd down conversions and gut wrenching penalties is what I am afraid of more so then any team. Dallas was awful yesterday yet lost by only 4. Phillys D was great. I wont take anything from the Eagles. They won Dallas didnt lose. I have said it many times that the NFC east battles are always tough no matter what the records are. Dallas has swept the east up until yesterday. Wash in Wash wont be easy. Neither will Carolina. It makes for some great football the next few weeks. The GB fans pushing out their chests because of yesterdays loss is funny though. You had Americas team right in front of you a few weeks ago and you got pushed around when our lord and savior Brett Favre was in there. Randall keeps referring to the Ice bowl because that was your last significant win over Dallas Edited December 17, 2007 by whomper
alexgaddis
I actually hope that GB gets homefield in the playoffs...that way there will be no excuse when Dallas goes up there in the cold and beats the Packers to go to the SB to be the one to lose to the Pats... Azazello1313
I love how Green Bay fans cant let the beat down of a few weeks ago go. that's not nearly as funny as when dallas got the schitt kicked out of them on their home field by new england, and cowboys fans were in here the very next day talking about how they couldn't wait to play the pats again in the super bowl! Clubfoothead
After the Cowboys win Saturday the pressure will be on Favre since he can't handle playing in Texas Stadium. We will see how he plays. I'd rather control my own fate than be hoping for help like the Packers are.

But whatever Packer fans. I think the important thing to take away from the defeat Dallas gave us is this: 1) Dallas played poorly in the 2nd half of that game and barely squeaked it out - with Rodgers at the helm of the Packers nonetheless 2) Dallas has played poorly in every game since they defeated the Packers (I personally think Romo has Jessica Simpson-on-the-brain) 3) Since the defeat, GB has been playing great football What does this all mean? GB has learned something from their defeat while Dallas has gone all starry-eyed and Hollywood and have taken their eyes off the prize. I was watching ESPN the other night and Chris Berman AND Tom Jackson both labeled Dallas as pretenders and GB as contenders. While this is purely subjective, it shows that the tide is turning against Dallas (if it hasn't already). Dallas more suited to play in the cold? It seems you still have the frostbite from the Ice Bowl still lingering on your brain. Besides, they won't have a chance to play in the cold because they will get knocked out in the 1st round of the playoffs. They can lose in the warmth and comfort of their own stadium.
