'canes2004
I have to say it, Brett Favre saved my FF year. Another solid performance by the old gun slinger and all 3 of my teams led by Favre have moved on, 2 SB's and a Conference Championship Game. After a pretty bad year in '06, Favre fell off the radar in most people's fantasy drafts. I am of the thought to always grab a QB later than most (due to 9 years of it being pounded into my head by my Huddler brethren) and I grabbed Favre pretty late in all 3 leagues. This allowed me to fill my roster with a couple more WR's and RB's to back-up my starters, which really seemed key this year more than most, while other owners were taking Palmer, Leinhart and Delhomme way too early. I was rewarded with a steady week in and week out performance by Favre who always plays hurt or not. Seemed like every week was 250-275 and 2-3 TD's. That's all you can really hope for from your starting QB I would think. Even when he broke my beloved Dan Marino's yardage record yesterday, I could only smile and think it couldn't of happened to a more classier guy. Good job Brett! The Holy Roller
Even though he rode my bench behind Brady all year I am of the same opinion as you concerning Favre. I hope he falls to me next year.
