tinys_hawks
How are ties handled in your fantasy playoffs?
Grits and Shins
If you don't have rules for it before now it is too late for this season. The only thing to do now is flip a coin.
tinys_hawks
Not in the rules.... That sucks.
Grits and Shins
Not in the rules.... That sucks. Then you are screwed. There is absolutely no solution you can come up with that will satsify both owners. Your only recourse is to flip a coin.
tinys_hawks
My commish is talking about "home" team gets the win. Is that fair?
Bronco Billy
You don't have rules in place for playoff ties? Seriously? Yikes. I'd say either a coin flip or select a group of players off each team's bench (maybe the best bench scoring QB, RB, & WR cumulative). Grits and Shins
My commish is talking about "home" team gets the win. Is that fair? I hate home field advantage in FF. It is purely arbitrary and artifical thing. Once the playoffs start the regular season doesn't matter any more. Having said that home field advantage can NOT be installed now. PaulOttCarruth
Go to decimal scoring. Count every yard . . . see whose players performed the best.
TimC
Can't each owner use G&S as a wishbone and the one that breaks off the biggest piece wins?
Grits and Shins
Go to decimal scoring. Count every yard . . . see whose players performed the best. That is not a bad option ... but the losing team will still perceive that they were screwed. I say the fairest thing, the one thing that can not be perceived as favoring one owner over another, is a coin flip.

keggerz
Then you are screwed. There is absolutely no solution you can come up with that will satsify both owners. Your only recourse is to flip a coin. so he is screwed if there is nothing in the rules but you say to flip a coin when that evidently isnt in the rules either. If its the semi's and your rules state the WINNER goes forward then it looks like the winner of your SB is already determined...if your rules dont say anything about WINNING then there will be a 3 way dance for the SB this week(assuming you play your SB this week) If this was your SB then chop the pot Edited December 17, 2007 by keggerz

tinys_hawks
he didn't even make the playoffs. I won the other semi... I play whomever the commish deems the winner. The rules state the winner advances. Wouldn't that be nice if I already won? Nice.

No matter what you do, someone is sure to feel rightfully screwed. This might be the least objectionable to all parties involved.
