Donutrun Jellies
Florida State football players cheated? Now, real college students get expelled for cheating. But not football players ... I still maintain that the NFL should fund a two to four year certificate in "pre-professional sports" that the non-student athletes could enroll in and still get to play college football. Players who actually want a degree and want to earn one could still do that. The rest of the truly non-students could just take the certificate, eliminating the need for cheating, the need for faking classes, the need for pretending to study, the need for all this stupidity could be eliminated. Those players would be what they truly are -- employees of the college, entertaining the public for the financial gain of the institution. For two to four years, the players would get living expenses and some rudimentary life training in exchange for partying, practicing, and playing. If they don't make it in the pros, welllllllll, they have the fond memories of the girls the boosters provided and the houses their parents got to live in thanks to agents and they'd have had good training on "how to be a towel boy at a health club" or "how to get all the grocery carts to line up nice" ... Actually, I think these are existing classes at most major college football programs... "how to be a towel boy at a health club" 101 or "how to get all the grocery carts to line up nice" 210 (it's a more advanced class) Kind of like the Principles and Strategies of Basketball course that was actually taught for UGA Basketball players. See if you could answer these questions?? Basketball test I'm sure there is the football equivalent in many major programs or ones that are at least more cleverly disguised...
