Big F'n Dave
Buddy of mine sliced some venison backstrap into cubes, topped them with cream cheese and jalapeno peppers and wrapped them in bacon. He cooked half of them on the grill and they were outstanding. The other half were absolutely out of this world, though. He prepared them exactly the same way, but battered and deep fried them instead of grilling. Unbef'nlievable.

Big F'n Dave
What is backstrap? Venison tenderloin. Or taint. I'm not really sure.

Brewer
venison is great no matter what its all how you cook it..... Yup. Made venison Jerky, snack sticks, breakfast sausage and brats this year. Can't beat it when cooked correctly. My kids love venison stew cooked in the crockpot. Cameltosis
This thread might be going in a different direction, but the wife made venison stroganoff this week. Delicious.
