this guy is an enigma. i traded for him back in week 7 for foster. since then i was 4-1 with him in my starting lineup & 1-2 with him on the bench. i had him in my lineup for the playoffs last week & won. even though he only had 3 points. anyone else scared to bench this guy?

Sorry, I don't have any useful insight either. His value is a complete mystery to me. Starting him is about like trying to "shoot the moon" in cards. You either look like a genius or an idiot. I can't think of any player that is a bigger risk reward than Evans. If you are up against a Goliath team, than it might be worth a gamble. If not, I assume you have safer picks on your bench or the WW is all I can say. Maybe someone more familiar with the Giants defense can give us an idea how their secondary is doing.

Wow, glad I found this thread, which is making me feel better about benching him this week. I have other options (Holmes, AGonzalez) and have opted to bench Evans for Holmes.

Evans has been an all-or-nothing guy, and those 3 catch, 80 yards and a TD type games have been about as good as it gets.

He could easily go for 80+ and a score... but he could also catch only 1 ball for 8 yards.

:D
