Fantasy Jesus
"Bill Parcells signed a four-year contract Thursday to become Miami's executive vice president of football operations." http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3162909 For a Dolphin team that desperately needs to rebuild and have some good drafts I can't think of a better hire. Has Wayne Huizenga finally hired the right person? I can see Mueller staying because Parcells has a history with him. I'm not so sure about Cameron though. Who could he bring in to coach the team? Could he lure Jason Garrett away from Dallas? John Fox? Coughlin if the Giants fire him? Howmuch of the Dallas turnaround can be attributed to Parcells? 'canes2004
At this point, nothing can hurt that's for sure. I'm not ready to jump for joy with the Tuna on board quite yet. I mean is his heart really into it or did Wayne offer him a boat load of money and a possible ownership stake? Will he be around for more than a year or two and actually get the job done and see that it's done right? He seems to get burned out quick in one place and haul ass. My expectations are low so hopefully I will be surprised if the Tuna can bring some success to the Dolphins. I do have a strong feeling my season tickets will be going up again. Randall
I've been a Miami fan for a long time(second to the Packers of course) and hope Parcells gets them going in the right direction.

I think this is a great move for the Phins and it also gives the AFC East a spark i'm sure Tuna wants to come after his old nemesis the Patriots and The Jets. He can't do any worse than the state the Franchise is currently in.

DemonKnight
I think this is a great move! Just in time to make the right choice with the #1 overall pick this year. I think Cameron stays. They have a history as they are both friends of Bobby Knight and have kicked it a few times. Great move Phins!
Randall
So what you're saying is you order cheese on your Fish-Filet sandwich? It's about a historic franchise getting back on track after Wannstaedt, Saban, hurricanes and even Cameron. It's been a tough several years down there. Gros Membres!
I like the move a lot for the 'Phins fans. In four years, Parcells will have this team on the right track, as evidence from that great draft list above. What strikes me is his ability to nab starting talent in the later rounds. Good stuff. The 2004 draft was pretty mediocre also except for Mat McBriar (punter) and Patrick Crayton (decent #2 WR). All I can say is be prepared to draft a Tight End and a couple of Line Backers every year.
