Gonkis
My brother brought a bottle of 21 year Glenlivet over for the Monday night game. Fanastically smooth. Even better than last year's 25 year Macallan, although the price difference would not make it seem that way. If you like scotch and haven't had a properly aged, 18+ year single malt, you need to try one. For me, there's nothing better. Happy New Year, foodies. Furd
I've not tried the Glenlivet, but I recommend the Balvenie 21 yr Port Wood.

yo mama
Got myself a bottle of Glenfarclas 25 year for Christmas. Great stuff, but a dash or two of water was necessary to mellow out the booziness and bring out the underlying flavors. Haven't had the upscale glenlivet, thought Balvenie is real nice. Hugh B Tool
So a couple of years ago we have our Emerald City draft @ Sky's casa. Our drafts are usually off the hook and this was no different. Two lb. ribeyes, meat and cheese platter from heaven, mucho salads and several bottles of top shelf tequila along with growlers of micro brews. Well after most of the dust had settled and I, myself was two sheets to the wind, Sky pulls out the Glenlivet 21. Gives Fraz and I a tumbler half full. Fraz, being a much better judge of scotch than I, savors the the taste and smoothness and looks at me and says have you tried this? it is simply the best. I then proceed to down the six ounces in one fell swoop. Damn was that good. I could taste the whole process. Fantastically smooth. Knocked the sh*t right out of me so much I actually sipped the next tumbler. Thanks Sky, best glass of liquor I have had in a long time. Though there was this one night in Mexico........... rocknrobn26
Drank a glass...or 2 of Glenmorangie 10 yo on xmas eve, as a chaser to my fave Dimple Pinch.! The Highland scotch is definitely a different flavor. Not smoky, hard to splain. Bier, What was that scotch we drank at my house that was supposed to be good but neither of us liked? Nod.... we drank a lot a different stuff that night! Coulda sworn I marked it somehow. Any Ideas???
