Menudo
Yes, this game means very little, and they have some guys resting. However, this game is extremely disappointing so far. A game like this is where you find out what a team is made of, and they are simply playing like garbage. Their inconsistency at this time of the year is troubling. I really hope they get it together and close out this game strong. So far, it has been an embarrassment. The Ravens, who have lots of guys out injured, are the ones playing with heart, and they have nothing to play for. Yes, I'm frustrated. Grits and Shins
Cowboys aren't having a banner day either. I expect that there is a lack of motivation.

Menudo
Is Holmes even in the game? I just need to know whether to hang myself now or later? I have the Pitt TMQB going in the SB today Batch has been awful. The whole team has been terrible. Down big now, they will have to pass, but, I wouldn't expect much today. This week is a definite example of why Super Bowl's shouldn't be played in Week 17. This game is making me Other than Polamalu & Aaron Smith, this is the starting Steelers defense, getting run over by Musa Smith & Cory Whatshisname, and getting thrown on by Troy Smith and Devard Darling. If this was the effort they were going to give, they should have stayed home, rested, and forfeited the game.

Menudo
Well? Anyone? I figure Batch has played very well in his last few starts, against a terrible secondary and Def that's struggling, F U C K !!!!!!!!!!! Yes, Santonio is in there. Menudo
The Chargers are now in control, so, the game likely means nothing, but, this is still disgusting. Plus, it costs me $100 to H8tank. A Steelers win, and we would have pushed on our bet.

ABearWithFurniture
The Chargers are now in control, so, the game likely means nothing, but, this is still disgusting. I think the Chargers were thinking ahead to next week as the 3rd seed gets to play either Tennessee or Cleveland...Pittsburgh looks like they'll be facing the Jags now, which is the lone WC team in either conference that has a legit shot at making it to the SB...JMHO

Skippy
The Steelers sudden inability to stop the run has me in major fear of Fred Taylor and MJD next Saturday. I just can not believe how poorly they have been defending the run lately. This is not Steeler football at all.

Pigskin Junkie
Yes, they have sucked on D the last few weeks, but hey, we can not do anything about this Next week starts a new season, the Post Season. Negativity and Pessimism brings bad Karma. Lets be optomistc, be good fans, and feel good about the luxury of having a longer football season than most almost every year!!!! (enough of this wah wah wah BS) GO STEELERS!!!! (I just finished reading a self help book)

I am optomistic but not the same sort of optomism that I would normally have. I have a small party planned for Saturday night and I will be rooting my ass off. Anyway, since you are done with the book, can I have it?

I'm surprised that you don't have more confidence than that, H8tank. I wasn't a believer until I saw them with my own eyes (at the Chargers game). After years of ragging on the team for their lackluster play and general lack of effort, I'm finally convinced they're for real. Meanwhile, you've supported them all along, challenged Captain Hook and Menudo to crazy bets (that you actually won in Menudo's case), and now you're getting cold feet?!?
