I guess you can call me a fool for somewhat buying into the homer spew that ran from the mouths on many Pac10 homers on this board all season. I thought this was a strong conference, I even thought they were as strong as the SEC The only win came from PAC10 #3 ranked Oregon St 20-14 over the 8th ranked team in the ACC, Maryland. While it is considered a "w" , you'd be a fool to think that was a positive for the Pac 10. Just think if Oregon St had to play even up against the ACC with a team on their level like BC or VaTech, they'd be 0-3 now without question, looking at 0-4 in the face with Cal's start today. godtomsatan Posted December 31, 2007 Share Posted December 31, 2007 The only bowl games this Pac-10 homer expected to win was OSU and USC. Not sure if anyone else has been touting the conference that hard during the second half of the season. Oregon sucks without Dixon, Cal fell apart for some reason after blowing the game to OSU, UCLA is just not a particularly good football team. The only real unexpected outcome thus far is ASU's shabby performance vs. Texas, but I thought the Longhorns looked pretty good.
